Like many of you I’m always looking for dupes and really good drugstore makeup. Now I was very excited when I heard that the Topshop bronzer in Mohawk was a great dupe for the Benefit Hoola bronzer, but I was sceptical so I thought I would test it out for myself.
Clearly the Topshop one isn’t trying to knock off Hoola because their packaging couldn’t be more different. The Topshop one is matte black with a very large mirror inside, which I personally prefer to the box that the Hoola bronzer is in because I feel like it’s an awkward shape and has a very small mirror inside. There is only one plus to Benefit’s Hoola bronzer and that is that it comes with a brush that is surprisingly decent.
The price difference is quite significant with the Topshop bronzer at £9 and the Benefit Hoola bronzer being £23 and I’m not going to lie to you when these bronzers are on you can’t tell the difference. In the image below I swatched both, the top being Hoola anf the bottom is Mohawk by Topshop. To me the difference is minuscule, but I think that the Benefit’s Hoola last just a fraction longer. Neither one of them is more pigmented than the other, they are so similar it’s crazy.
Personally I think that it’s a brilliant dupe and perfect for those that want Benefit’s Hoola bronzer, but can’t justify spending that much money then it’s perfect.
Thanks so much for reading I hope you enjoyed it, if you did then please feel free to give it a like, leave a comment and share. Thanks again guys and I’ll speak to you soon.
