I don’t know about you guys, but I love myself a liquid lipstick and I’ve noticed more drugstore brands coming out with their own versions. I knew Revlon were coming out with some, but had no idea when they were coming out. When I saw these in Boots a few weeks ago I was so excited, but for £8.99 they aren’t that much cheaper than others.
I’m such a sucker for packaging, it’s like the main things that draws me to products and I’m sure I’m not the only one. I really like the frosted plastic tube, as well as the interesting shape, but when trying to put it in a standard lipstick stand it had to sit diagonally because it’s too wide.
As for the formula the first thing I noticed was the smell and I really love it, it smells like sweets and reminds me of the old school sweetshops. When applying it I felt like it took longer than it should to dry because it remained tacky for about 10 to 15 minutes. It’s relatively long lasting without eating and drinking, but after while it leaves that annoying ring on the inside of your lips.
Overall, it’s an average liquid lipstick and didn’t really wow me, but that’s also because it doesn’t have a very large selection of colours which is a big thing for me. It’s just dependant on what’s more important to you, price, colour or quality. I hope you enjoyed this or found it helpful, if you did don’t forget to share and I’ll speak to you guys soon.
