July Favourites

FullSizeRender 5

This is a post you guys haven’t seen in a long time and it’s my monthly favourites, I can’t promise this will be back every month because I feel like I don’t try enough new products to fall in love with every month. I have reviewed all of these products in the past a part from one, so I won’t be doing a full review, I will however leave links to my full reviews of each product if your interested.

First product up is a product I only posted the review to last week, but I have been trying and testing it all month so I could get a full feel of the product. That product being the L’Oreal Overnight Elixir, I’m quite a pale person naturally and I need that extra help to get that summer glow. I find that it gives a really nice buildable natural-looking tan, that lasts a reasonable amount of time, though not the full 2 weeks like it claims. Make sure you prep you skin by exfoliating thoroughly before use because it will cling and get patchy to those areas, like most fake tans. This is also one for the face and body and haven’t had any issues with it causes breakouts or making my skin oilier that I’ve noticed. For a full review click here.

The Second product on this list today is the Too Faced Sweethearts Baked Luminous Bronzer. I haven’t put this down since I got it back in May as a birthday gift, I love that it’s the perfect bronzy shade for my neutral skin and that it gives a nice sun-kissed glow to the skin. Another bonus is the beautiful packaging, it’s shaped like a heart, how could you resist? For a full review click here.

This next product that I have here, I haven’t mentioned once on this blog and have been meaning to write a review and that’s for the Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Oily/Combination skin. It’s gotten to a point where I’ve nearly used it up, this must mean I’m loving it because I’ve been wearing non-stop alongside my other favourite foundation, the Estee lauder Double Wear. I love that it’s a matte foundation that gives great coverage and lasts all day on my oily skin. I will be reviewing this product very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

The second Too Faced product for this list and it’s their love flush blushes, yes I know it’s another heart shaped item I just can’t resist. Once again I’m completely in love with yet another Too Faced product, I find the pigmentation to be great, I’m someone that doesn’t like a blush to be too pigmented because I can get a little heavy handed at times. The staying power is impressive too, I just love the natural flush it gives to my cheeks. For a full review click here.

Lastly is the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer and this has completely replaced pretty much most of my concealers. I was blown away with the coverage that this gives me, I literally don’t use much at all, I’ve been using it for over a month and looks like I’ve hardly made a dent in it. The one thing I don’t like to use this for and that’s under my eyes because It’s quite thick in consistency, so I find it to make my eyes look a little crepe-like and that’s something I don’t want. Thank you so much for reading and I hope that you enjoyed or found this somewhat helpful, if you did then please feel free to give it a like, leave a comment or share it. Let me know in the comments what you’ve been loving in the month of July and I’ll speak to you guys soon.
