[REVIEW] L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

Everyone and their mothers have been talking about the new L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara and although it’s been out for a while in America, I have been eagerly awaiting it’s UK release. It released earlier this month and was super excited to see what the hype was all about. It’s been compared to the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara, but seeing that I’ve never tried it I won’t be able to compare or make that judgement. I believe this mascara is available from Boots and Superdrug, online and in-stores for £9.99.

I’m a sucker for pink or rose gold packaging, so I do really like the tube. However seeing the American version, I think I prefer the fully pink tube, finding this version to look and feel a little cheap. I don’t really understand the whole changing certain packaging for different countries, but if someone could enlighten me in the comments it would be much appreciated. The brush is an hourglass shape, where it tapers inwards at the middle of the brush. After trying this for a couple of days I’m still unsure how I feel about the way it distributes product onto my eyelashes and whether it’s even enough for my liking.

The formula I find to be the perfect consistency, it’s not too wet or too dry. I certainly can see a difference in the lift and volume that this mascara gives me, but I feel like I have to put a few coats on to get it there, which isn’t always an issue, but sometimes it can start to look a tiny bit clumpy. I find that it seems to hold my lashes in places all day, which is great because I don’t want to see straight lashes at the end of the day. I’ve noticed some people have mentioned that they find this mascara to get a bit flaky, but I haven’t really found this to be the case.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with my new mascara purchase and I will definitely continue to use this. I think the more I use it the more I will probably fall in love with it because I find that it’s pretty good for getting not just my upper lashes looking great, but also my lower lashes too without making a mess. I find that I struggle to be wowed by mascara, but I think that’s just because I have high hopes for them and it’s more of an issue with my eyelashes maybe. If your debating whether to give this mascara a go then I would say go for it and you probably wouldn’t regret it. Let me know if you have tried and what your thoughts are in the comment section below.

Thanks for reading, if you enjoyed or found this somewhat helpful then please give it a like, leave a comment or share it. Thanks again guys and I’ll speak to you soon.
