[REVIEW] SLEEK Matte Me Liquid Lipstick

I have been hearing great things about the Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipsticks for quite sometime and I’ve been meaning to give them ago. I finally picked one up to test the formula and give you guys my honest review. The shade I picked up is Shabby Chic and it’s a pinky mauve colour. You can buy these Sleek Lip products from both Boots and Superdrug for around £4.99, which is an amazing price.

The packaging isn’t the standard circular tube, which is quite refreshing actually. The quality of the plastic feels quite high considering the really reasonable price tag. The formula is more pigmented and opaque than I had originally expected, but if you don’t spread it out evenly it can go a tad streaky. Of course you can tell by the name that this does in fact dry to a matte finish, I don’t find it to be in anyway drying, making it really comfortable to wear. I’m impressed with the staying power because I didn’t find this to really transfer at all, like most liquid lipsticks do. This stuff is so hard get off my lips and my arm for that fact, I scrubbed and scrubbed and it was so difficult.

Overall these liquid lipsticks have really impressed me, I finally know why people always mention these. I recommend that if your interested in trying them, just bite the bullet and buy them, buy them all! I have to go back to Boots and buy as many shades as I can because this formula is so good. If you’ve tried these and recommend anything for me to try then please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for reading if you enjoyed it or found it somewhat helpful, then please give it a like, leave a comment or share it. Thank you again guys and I’ll speak to you soon.
