Today I thought I would do an empties post and for those of you that don’t know it’s where I share with you some products that I have used up, what I think of them and if I’m going to purchase them again. As always let me know if you have tried these, what your opinions are and if you have any recommendations.
Starting with the Revlon Colourstay foundation, some of you may already be aware that I freaking love this foundation at the moment and have already repurchased it. It’s really quite full coverage and is perfectly designed for my oily/combination skin. It is super long-wearing and matte. I would highly recommend to anyone with the same kind of skin to me, plus it’s affordable.
Next is a perfume and this is something I don’t really discuss all that much on my blog, I don’t really get new perfume all that often. It’s the L’Occitane Fluers de Cerisier, I bought this for myself around my birthday time last year and I have been wearing it as my daily perfume since. I really like the soft floral and fresh fragrance, that tends to be my ideal scent. I would definitely recommend going to smell this because I know scents are quite personal and I am terrible at describing them. This isn’t a cheap perfume either, so I probably wouldn’t buy this again, nothing to do with the perfume itself it’s just because I like trying new ones.
The Maybelline Lash Sensational is next and I love this loads. I will in fact be repurchasing this because it’s just so dang good. It’s super black and easy to get voluminous lashes because you can build it up without it getting clumpy instantly. It doesn’t flake, it holds the curl and lift of my lashes reasonably well. Would highly recommend trying out for yourself because it’s reasonably price and can be purchased in most places where Maybelline is available.
These last two are in fact repeat offenders and where in my last empties and that’s just because I love these products. The Rimmel Stay Matte powder is just such a staple for me and I don’t have much to say about it. It keeps my face looking matte and it just sets the face really well without making it look cakey. It’s just the perfect pressed powder and I haven’t found one that competes with it.
Lastly is the Soap and Glory Brow Archery pencil. This is the best eyebrow pencil have have used my far, the colour matches my brows really well and the formula isn’t too creamy or pigmented, so it’s easy to keep it neat and tidy without going over board. I have bought this multiple times and will most likely repurchase it, I am currently testing different affordable brow pencils to find the best one and this one I would say is still coming out on top.
Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed it and if you did then please give it a like, leave a comment and share because it really helps me out. Thanks again and I’ll speak to you soon.
