[REVIEW] Carbon CoCo teeth whitening

So a couple of months ago I got the opportunity to give the Carbon Coco teeth whitening kit, which is charcoal based. I had seen this brand all over Instagram and had heard some great testimonials. The kit that I was sent is the Ultimate Kit that retails for $89.95 Australian dollars, which is roughly £50 and that is steep. In the kit you get a tooth brush, the charcoal powder and a charcoal infused toothpaste.

The packaging is cool and sleek, I love a good packaging. I think you get a lot of product in the pot and because of the way the tub is it’s easy to dip your tooth brush in. The charcoal doesn’t really taste of anything, but it feels quite gritty. The toothpaste comes out black, has a minty flavour and ends up foaming white, so it’s quite similar to a normal toothpaste. The process takes double the amount of time it would normally take because you have to do 3 minutes of the powder then 3 minutes of the toothpaste. I have to also mention how god damn messy this is, I had to clean my sink everyday.

To be honest it did whiten my teeth maybe a shade or 2 lighter, but its really not that noticeable especially in pictures. Which is why I have no pictures because you can’t really notice a difference. This could just be me that didn’t find it to work, but the people you see on Instagram already have white teeth and they also have great lighting. This product is probably best for maintaining white teeth rather than for making drastic changes.

Overall, I’m not that impressed, but maybe it’s just me because I haven’t found maybe teeth whitening things to work for me. I don’t personally think it’s worth the price, especially if you from the UK. Let me know if you have tried this and had better luck or if you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for reading guys, I hope you enjoyed and found this somewhat helpful, if you did then give it a like, leave a comment and share. Thanks again and I’ll speak to you soon.
