What’s in my Travel Bag?

Since I’m going away for the weekend I thought it would be fun to show you guys what I’m choosing to take. I’m off to Amsterdam early Saturday morning for my 21st birthday (which is on Sunday) and I’m extremely lucky my birthday falls on the bank holiday weekend. As we’re only going to 2 nights, we are only taking hand luggage, which can be nuisance when your like me and like to take lots of unnecessary things with you.

I’ve tried so hard to not bring only essentials, but essentials for me is a full face of makeup. The makeup I bought with me are all pretty much my go-to products, such as my Estee Lauder Double wear foundation, Collection Lasting  Perfection concealer and my Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Other products consist of my Too Faced Love Flush blush and Sweet Tea bronzer, as well as my Maybelline Lashsensational mascara, Sleek Solstice Highlighting palette, Max Factor Brow shaper and Mac Lip Liner. All these products I love and always reach for, but I have thrown in some newer products because I’m still testing one of them and that’s the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer, there will be a review coming soon. The palette I chose is the Makeup Revolution Reloaded Iconic Division, that is because I’ve been really enjoying it and I felt it’s quite versatile. The best advice I can give when packing is pick products that can create multiple looks, so that you don’t have to take lots of different things. I have chosen to take a nude lipstick and a red, this way I can take a makeup look from day to night and only change my lips.

The toiletries I have tried to keep even more minimal, by not getting a shower because almost all hotels will leave some in the bathrooms for you. I chose to pick up some mini Tresemme shampoo and conditioner and that is mostly because that’s all the shop had to offer at the time. I picked up a trusty tiny bottle of the Garnier Micellar water because it’s the best cleanser/makeup remover. I’m obviously taking a moisturiser and it’s my current go-to, it’s the Botanics Hydration Burst. For perfume I have decided to take a roller-ball because it’s the perfect travel that will just slip into my bag nicely. A tiny toothpaste is always essential no matter where you go. I chose to keep my skincare very basic because otherwise it’s just all too much to take.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I would love to hear what products are essential to you guys when your travelling. Thank you guys for reading, if you enjoyed it or found it somewhat helpful then give it a like, leave a comment and share. Thanks again and i’ll speak to you guys soon.
