[REVIEW] Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer

After a long time of not being able to get my shade because it was constantly out of stock, I finally got my hand on the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define concealer that everybody has been going on about since the launch. I managed to finally pick up the shade C2 in my local Superdrug for only £4.00. This concealer is suppose to be very similar to the Tarte shape tape, but since I haven’t tried that I won’t be able to make any comparisons.

The packaging is simple and since it’s so reasonably priced you can’t really complain. The tube feels quite wide and stumpy compared to most concealers, so it looks like you get a lot of product, but in actual fact you get less than you normally would with just less than 4ml. My all time favourite concealer from collection has more in it and it’s basically the same price. So to warn you the tube is quite misleading. The applicator is a very large doe foot and I’m still a little undecided if I like this or not, it’s for under the eyes, but if your spot concealing it can apply too much product. I know they have done this to dupe the Tarte Shape Tape.

The formula isn’t what I was expecting because it’s actually quite liquidy, but it’s still very full coverage. I was expecting something very thick. It’s very good for using both under the eyes and for spot concealing. I have found it to cling to patches of dry skin, but that’s to be expected for something so full coverage. Make sure you set this really quickly under your eyes because if you don’t it can crease easier. The concealer doesn’t look overly heavy or cakey, it seem to be quite long-lasting through the day and I’m a face toucher. I didn’t find this to oxidise or anything like that, which is great. I would also like to praise the vast range of shades available because not a lot of drugstore brands offer this kind of range, obviously this isn’t the largest variation, but it’s a start.

Overall, I have been really enjoying using this concealer and am quite happy. I have found myself reaching for this quite a bit, but I’m not sure if it beats my Collection one. I would say it’s definitely worth the money because it’s so affordable, with a large variety of shades. I would really recommend trying this because it might just become your new favourite concealer. Let me know if you have tried this or if you have any recommendations in the comments below.

Thanks for reading guys I hope enjoyed or found this somewhat helpful, if you did then give it a like, leave a comment and share. Thanks again and I’ll speak to you soon.
