As it’s festival season I have been obsessed with glitter and wanted to try some different glitters. The thing with glitter is that it’s crazy messy and I thought trying a pressed glitter is the most ideal, one for storage purposes and two because I’m hoping they’re less messy. I saw this set of 5 pressed glitters from RevolutionPro for only £6.00, available from Superdrug.
The packaging is simple, but your buying pans of pressed glitters you will need to either put them in an empty magnetic palette or buy an empty magnetic palette. They offer this selection of colours and they also offer another selection that is more cool toned. The glitters to of course have fall out when either using your finger or a brush, which is to be expected. I find using a flat shader or my finger to be the best way to use these and I found they work without glitter glue. You can use a eyeshadow primer or even a concealer, if you feel they aren’t sticking down enough for you. They are pretty long-lasting and as you have probably heard the expression ‘Glitter is like the herpes of the arts and crafts world.’ You can never get rid of it.
[From Top to Bottom; Sparkle, Beacon, Gleam, Emit and Twinkle]
Overall, I’m super happy with the results I get from using these and I 100% recommend if you have a festival or you just like an over the top look. I will definitely be buying the other set that they offer and creating a bunch of cool looks, so keep an eye out on my Instagram. If you have tried these or have any recommendations, just let me know in the comments below.
