I can’t believe May is over and we’re basically half way through the year all ready! Where has the past 5 months gone? It just seems so crazy to me. This was my birthday month, so of course I did some spending and got many new products. You may have seen majority of these product in my birthday haul and I have reviewed most of them too, so you will probably already know why I’ve been loving them this month.
Starting off with my new favourite bronzer, the Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer. I was so happy when my wonderful boyfriend gave this to me for my birthday, I had been wanting this for the longest time. I love everything about this, from the packaging to the actual product inside. Don’t be put off by the price tag because although £35 seems like a lot, your actually getting double the amount of product you would get in any other bronzer. If your looking to invest in a bronzer, I would highly recommend this one.
The next product is on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, as it’s only £4.00 and it’s the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer. This concealer has been great for under my eyes because it’s got the coverage and doesn’t make it look cakey or dry. Although you get a little less product inside the tube, it’s so affordable you can’t really complain. I really like the over-sized doe foot applicator because it applies and spreads a great amount of product under the eyes, but if your looking for spot-concealing it’s not ideal.
I have recently been obsessed with pressed glitters and rightfully so, as festival season is here. I have been loving the RevolutionPro pressed glitters and plan of investing in more of their shades. They stick to your eyes without use of glue, but if your struggling then you can just use an eyeshadow primer. You can pick up a set of 5 for £6, how amazing is that. Keep an eye out for some more glittery makeup looks to come on my instagram.
Lastly, I have been on a mission to up my eyeshadow game and try new looks. This required me to invest in some different brushes, so I could achieve different outcomes because the 2 brushes I had weren’t cutting it anymore. I picked up 2 Zoeva ones(322 Brow Line &238 Luxe Precise Shader), a Morphe one( the R41) and a BH Cosmetics one (the V5). I have been really enjoying playing around with them. I had hadn’t tried anything from any of these brands and had heard some questionable things about Morphe and their quality. I haven’t had any problems, there has been no shedding and they have worked wonders for me. I think all these brands have some great affordable brushes that are worth a try.
Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed or found this somewhat helpful and if you did them be sure to give it a like, leave a comment and share. Thanks again and I’ll speak to you soon.
